Roadtrip 2021-2022 Winter: Seaside - Yachats - Brookings

Day 16 - Yachats to Brookings

The critical exchange.

Come on - service is way too slow here - my bud's flyin' in and he's hungry!

Late morning mist and fog hangs over the dunes at Baker Beach. That would be the world's largest sand trap to the left.

All is calm at Honeyman State Park.

The incredible greens of Oregon.Though this wild rhodo would be amazing when in bloom.

North Bend - gothic revival.

Dunno how well civic zoning bylaws are going to fix this problem.

The Most Desirable Address in North Bend - at the corner of 10th and Elrod.

A few more ideas for Cheryl.

It's been a couple of years since we've been here - good to know it's (mostly) all still here.

The Largest Pigeon Coop in the Northern Hemisphere is on the roof of the Loft Restaurant.

Just for Garry - if you drive under that gate (a few pictures back) into Bandon off US101 and turn right after 1/2 a block and go one block down to the marina and park in the lot, you will be rewarded with this amazing view of the World-Famous Coquille Lighthouse.

We know every worthy chocolatier on the Coast. Wendy makes a beeline for one of them.

The sleepy port of Orford sleeps through yet another sunset.

Dang!! The best restaurant (the Redfish) for a bloody great distance, has decided to close for January.

In Gold Beach: The World-Famous Town and Country BBQ and Animal Clinic.

Angry sunset - 2022 number two.
